Mr George Davies
George Davies has been the most prolific supporter of the Circulation Foundation since 2005, when his mother died. She had suffered from vascular disease.

George, famously dubbed “King of the High Street” created high street giant Next in 1982 and  then went onto launch George at Asda, which became the biggest selling clothes’ retailer in  Britain. Following this he launched per una for Marks and Spencer and most recently FG4, a new Kids wear Brand in Saudi Arabia.

George generously gave his time and marketing expertise when the Circulation Foundation re-launched in 2006, changing its name from the Vascular Foundation.

In 2007, he designed a range of sportswear for per una and donated 20% of all sales, which amounted to over £120,000.

Following his mother’s death, George pledged £25,000 a year for research into vascular disease in the Mary Davies Award.
