The Shropshire, Telford and Wrekin Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm Screening Team are passionate about what they do! So much so, that they were willing to suffer physically to promote the service they provide.
They took on a challenge that reflected the three A’s they are often known as. Climbing the 3 largest mountains in England, Scotland and Wales seemed good enough. Their aim was to wave an ‘A’ flag at the top of each peak!
Final Update from the team:
'We did it! Over three days we battled through temperatures of minus 4- to 27 degrees Celsius, walking over 16 hours over 3 days, up the 3 highest mountains in Scotland, England and Wales. We have pushed ourselves to the limits and enjoyed (and hated) the epic adventure!
Jess, Rhian and Jodie raised an amazing amount, over £1100 so a huge thank you, ladies, from the Circulation Foundation
